DAIS Networks of Advanced Health AI Academies
The DAIS Advanced Health AI Academies (DAIS AHAIAs) bring together training organisations, vocational education and training (VET) providers, and higher education institutions with expertise in continuing and postgraduate education. They form regional networks that support the development and delivery of high-quality learning opportunities for the uptake of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare.
Six DAIS AHAIA networks will be established in Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Romania. Within each network, education and training providers will work together with healthcare stakeholders to co-design and continuously develop curricula that address the specific needs of healthcare professionals and healthcare executives.
The DAIS AHAIAs will help ensure that the training offer is relevant to different professional roles, aligned with the needs of healthcare organisations, and adaptable to rapidly evolving AI technologies and regulatory requirements. By connecting education and training providers with healthcare practice, the networks will contribute to building the skills and competences needed to use AI effectively, responsibly and sustainably across European healthcare systems.
