Summer University Lingen (SUL)

The Summer University Lingen (SUL) will take place on Lingen campus. Our Summer University will offer plenty of

• interaction
• networking
• teamwork
• and of course: lots of fun

The SUL will take place online from July 07 until July 20, 2024  with July 7 being our check-in and welcome day. The actual lectures and project work will take place from July 8 until July 19. Saturday, July 20 will be departure day.

The two-week program is taught in English and is open to German and international students currently enrolled in a degree program.

The SUL takes a look at the backbone of Germany’s economy: family-owned medium-sized companies, the so-called German Mittelstand, and will especially focus on how these companies implement sustainabilty measures into their day-to-day operations. A unique feature of the SUL is the practical and interactive part: we will meet with representatives of Mittelstand companies and we will engage in group and project work. You will thus gain comprehensive insight into the regional, international, and global procedures of companies in Germany, the city of Lingen and its surrounding area. The SUL is offered by the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences located in the city of Lingen.
