Summer University Lingen (SUL) - Online Edition

August 22 - Augsut 27, 2021

Let’s get productive: Discovering Business and Technology Made by German Hidden Champions

The Summer University Lingen (SUL) will take place online this year! We would’ve enjoyed having you on campus but due to the current development of the Corona pandemic, we have decided to offer a virtual program. Our online SUL will still offer plenty of

  • interaction
  • networking
  • teamwork
  • and of course: lots of fun

The SUL will take place online from August 22 until August 27, with August 22 being our check-in and welcome day. The actual lectures and project work will take place from August 23 until August 27.

The one-week program is taught in English and is open to German and international students currently enrolled in a degree program.

The SUL takes a look at the backbone of Germany’s economy: family-owned medium-sized companies, the so-called German Mittelstand. The goal of the Summer University is to analyze the key success factors of the Mittelstand companies and to gain insight into their operations and management features. A unique feature of the SUL is the practical and interactive part: we will meet online with representatives of Mittelstand companies and we will engage in group and project work. You will thus gain comprehensive insight into the regional, international, and global procedures of companies in Germany, the city of Lingen and its surrounding area. Please find more information on the program below.

The SUL is offered by the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences located in the city of Lingen. We will be meeting in Lingen virtually this year but maybe you can join us in Lingen next year?!
