The artistic training does not end behind the walls of the IfM, as the jazz specialization is connected in many ways with the city’s cultural infrastructure.

The Blue Note jazz club / Cinema-Arthouse, with which there is close contact, and Cafe 8 1/2 offer students a wide range of professional performance opportunities: among other things, the monthly sessions organized by IfM students take place here, as well as performances in the “Local Jazz” series and the IfM jazz end-of-semester concerts.
