Features of the degree program Business Management in the Health Sector

Business Management in the Health Sector is a business administration degree program which specializes in health and hospital management. Already in the first stage of studies, students acquire extensive knowledge about health and hospital management in addition to the fundamentals of business. In the third and fifth semester students can chose electives according to the plans of their professional career.

Small study groups and a high degree of practical relevance are typical features of this degree program. For example, students take part in a 16-week practical project at a health management facility in the fourth semester.

The study program qualifies graduates for employment in all healthcare facilities, especially in hospitals, at health insurance companies, in rehabilitation clinics, in nursing homes, at consultancies, at pharmaceutical companies, and for associations and public authorities.
