With a period of study abroad, you can gather personal experience and further develop your linguistic, intercultural and professional competencies. Get to know new teaching and learning methods and take part in modules which will promote your studies. Expand your horizons in the exchange with other cultures. Ask your classmates about their exchange experiences: You will be amazed.
Over 200 University collaborations enable study visits worldwide, establish how many students are exchanged in which specialized areas and whether the tuition fees are waived or reduced at the partner university. More than 120 Erasmus partnerships enable you to participate in a study visit abroad within Europe without tuition fees and with an Erasmus scholarship (website only available in German).
The majority of the university collaborations including the Erasmus partnerships are maintained by the respective faculties. Here, the relevant International Faculty Office is your point of contact for all questions relating to university study at the partner universities, application deadlines and procedures, choice of subjects and recognition.
If you are planning a stay abroad and would like to learn about the experiences of former exchange students, a selection of reports is available on the OSCA-portal on semesters abroad and internships.
In the Center for International Mobility and International Faculty Offices, the staff is ready to assist with comprehensive advice regarding the planning, selection of the partner university, organization and performance recognition of your stay abroad.
