Internationalization in Research

Internationalization in Research

Research is a key driver of internationalization at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. Our researchers are globally connected, working collaboratively to develop innovative and practice-oriented solutions to societal and technological challenges. At the same time, we are committed to supporting early-career researchers and strengthening international knowledge transfer.

Our website offers an overview of our three main research priorities. In addition, the research and department databases provide comprehensive search options for projects involving both national and international partners.

We actively support the initiation and continuation of international research activities through funding opportunities for conference travel, (accessible only internally) as well as through networking formats within the framework of the DFG initiative “Support for the Internationalization of Research at Universities of Applied Sciences (UDIF-HAW).”

Further funding for international project activities is available through programs offered by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (“Europe Program”) and, at the federal level, by the BMFTR (“HAW EuropaNetzwerke”).

For advice on European or international research initiatives, please contact the EU Office or the units of Departmental and International Projects.

The Welcome Center provides guidance to international visiting scholars and their supervisors at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
