Study and Teaching
In the biotechnology laboratory and research area in the OT building of the AuL faculty, work on enzymes and proteins in food applications is carried out.
In the bachelor's degree program in Bioprocess Engineering in Food Industries, student internships are included in the modules
- biotechnology and enzyme technology,
- food biotechnology,
- biotechnological protein production and
- functional food.
The laboratory space is also regularly used for projects, bachelor's or master's theses, work on ongoing research projects, and contract research.
