Semester abroad
With a period of study abroad, you can gather personal experience and further develop your linguistic, intercultural and professional competencies. Get to know new teaching and learning methods and take part in modules which will promote your studies. Expand your horizons in the exchange with other cultures. Ask your classmates about their exchange experiences: You will be amazed.
Over 200 University collaborations enable study visits worldwide, establish how many students are exchanged in which specialized areas and whether the tuition fees are waived or reduced at the partner university. More than 120 Erasmus partnerships enable you to participate in a study visit abroad within Europe without tuition fees and with an Erasmus scholarship (website only available in German).
The majority of the university collaborations including the Erasmus partnerships are maintained by the respective faculties. Here, the relevant International Faculty Office is your point of contact for all questions relating to university study at the partner universities, application deadlines and procedures, choice of subjects and recognition.
Tuition-Free Study Places at Selected Partner Universities
Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences maintains cross-faculty partnerships with several universities, under which tuition waivers have been agreed upon:
- University of Florida, Gainsville, USA
- University of South Florida, Tampa, USA
- University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, USA
These study spots are advertised on a central level basis by the Center for International Mobility. The application period for a semester abroad during the winter semester 27/28 will be open again from 15th November 2026 until 15th January 2027!
