Landscape Development (B.Eng.)

Bachelor of Engineering

Features of the degree program Landscape Development

Landscape development is a component of landscape architecture and focuses on nature conservation and environmental planning. The everyday professional life of landscape planners is marked by project work. For this reason, project topics are worked out in groups starting already in the 1st semester of the program.

Students learn the relationship between analysis and planning as well as the preparation and presentation of their results.

Modules include, among others, plant and animal ecology, soil, hydrology, climate, geoinformation, design and planning, and landscape planning and maintenance.

The degree program also includes numerous excursions to acquaint students with various habitats or with the implementation of measures from the areas of nature conservation, landscape planning, and recreation planning on site.
