The degree program Bachelor of Vocational Education – Metals Engineering combines the study of metals technology with that of a general educational subject. Graduates can be employed as subject specialists at vocational schools, companies, or extracurricular academic institutions.

Profession specialization in metals technology encompasses mathematical and scientific foundations and the didactics of metals technology in addition to mathematics, computer science, and physics. The program also focuses on a general educational subject and vocational and business education.

Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and the University of Osnabrück offer this undergraduate degree program as a collaborative effort that is unique in all of Lower Saxony.
