Professional specialization in metals technology:
Mathematical/scientific foundations of metals technology, mathematics, computer science, and physics; subject-specific educational foundations of metals technology

General educational subject:
Choice of German, English, Evangelical Religion, Computer Science, Catholic Religion, Mathematics, Physics, or Sports

Vocational and business education:
Foundations of vocational and business education; general didactics, contexts and conditions of vocational instruction and learning; systems, structures, and functions of vocational education, i.e. in vocational schools, companies, and extracurricular academic institutions

General practical teaching studies:
Five weeks of practical preparation and follow-up studies at a vocational school
