Features of the degree program

The degree program Mechanical Engineering focuses initially on the foundations of mathematics, science, and engineering. In higher semesters, students can specialize in one of the five deepenings: Energy Technology, Development and Construction, Engineering Pedagogics, Agricultural Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.

Specialists in mechanical engineering are in demand in a variety of areas: automation systems, air conditioning technology, and machine tools are just a few examples. These topics are also a key component of the study program.
