Degree program International Event Management Shanghai (IEMS)
In cooperation with the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE), Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers the International Event Management Shanghai (IEMS) degree program exclusively for Chinese students.
Instruction takes place entirely at SUIBE. Half of the lectures are delivered by professors and lecturers from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in the form of intensive courses lasting one to two weeks. The curriculum covers business fundamentals such as accounting, principles of marketing, macro- and microeconomic theory and policy, and strategic management. Key areas of specialization include the global event market, trade show participation and experience management, and the management of venues and event destinations.
