Career prospects
This program focuses on direct care in all healthcare fields. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, which leads to professional certification as a registered nurse, is clinically oriented and based on (nursing) scientific findings. At the same time, it takes into account the individual life situations of people of all ages in all areas of healthcare practice. Potential future fields of activity include:
- Managing nursing processes based on evidence from (nursing) science
- Responsibility for the execution of nursing-specific reserved tasks
- Providing information, instruction, and counseling to people in need of care, their relatives, and supportive networks
- Planning and carrying out nursing measures, among others, in collaboration with various healthcare professions
- Implementing the latest (nursing) scientific findings in nursing practice
- Quality development in nursing (e.g. through project work)

The dual study program in Nursing is a cooperative effort between vocational schools for nursing professions in the regions, cities, and districts of Osnabrück, Oldenburger Münsterland, Emsland, Grafschaft Bentheim, Region Diepholz, and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
