Being able to plan, document and manage the logistics and operational aspects of an event is an essential quality for all event managers. In order to be successful, event managers must be able to work with a diverse workforce and operate within a range of different contractual obligations. This module covers the aspects of project management and operations in events management from venue inspection, negotiations, event production and staging, to food, beverage and concessions and the logistics of the event. The focus is on understanding the practical considerations of running an event.
