Kurzbeschreibung

Objectives are to describe and explain the major concepts of logistics (procurement, production, distribution, reverse logistics), to understand value creation concepts in industry and to understand the role of logistics in value creation systems. Furthermore, the candidates should be able to apply supply chain management concepts and techniques through a case study, to describe the basic business logistics, flows and processes, to have the competence to identify supply chain problems and to propose a solution applying scientific and engineering approaches.
