- Empfohlene Vorkenntnisse
Sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English (good school level)
- Wissensverbreiterung
Students learn about different sensor systems through their own presentation research and through the presentations of other students. They also gain knowledge in new areas of application. They are able to read and evaluate literature in English. They are able to express themselves in English at a scientific level.
- Wissensvertiefung
Students are able to grasp and understand the current state of knowledge in a specialized field and to present it in a scientific paper based on scientific publications.
- Wissensverständnis
Students recognize the connections between technologies, engineering and sustainability and their interdependencies. They understand how sensor systems work and can evaluate their application in agriculture or related areas in terms of economy and sustainability.
- Nutzung und Transfer
After successfully completing the module, students are able to select high-tech systems in the field of biosystems technology and agriculture, recognize advantages and disadvantages and critically question explanations of the systems. They are able to use appropriate sensor systems in studies or in agricultural practice.
- Wissenschaftliche Innovation
Students learn about the latest innovations in the field of biosensor technology and agricultural sensor technology. They learn how sustainability can be supported by modern technologies. They can transfer this knowledge to other issues and tasks.
- Kommunikation und Kooperation
Students develop their presentation style and demonstrate the scientific nature of their presentations. They learn to discuss innovations and technologies at a high scientific level. By speaking and discussing in English, they learn to communicate confidently in an internationally accessible language and with specific technical terms.
- Wissenschaftliches Selbstverständnis / Professionalität
Students increase their professionalism through well-prepared presentations and lectures in English. This prepares them for future tasks in internationally active companies, institutes and educational institutions. They are able to appropriately summarize and present complex issues in front of an international audience. In doing so, they enhance their academic self-image.
