Kurzbeschreibung

This module aims to improve the consciousness and practical ability of students related to digitalisation and technology in the event industry with a strong practical focus.

The portfolio examination consists of:

PFP1: a presentation (30%) and a two-hour exam (70%)
PFP2: a written project report (30%) and a written paper (70%)
PFP3: a written project report (30%) and a two-hour exam (70%)

Prüfungsdauer und Prüfungsumfang

Presentation: approx. 10-15 minutes

Written project report: approx. 15-20 pages

Written paper: approx. 10-15 pages

Written examination: in accordance with the valid study regulations

Nutzung und Transfer

The emergence of multimedia technology has produced virtual display systems represented by VR (Virtual Reality) technology, AR (Augmented Reality) technology and holographic projection technology. Similar technology enables the experiencer to immerse in the virtual scene and experience a real and strong sense of existence, which also provides wireless possibilities for the future development of exhibitions and events and greatly broadens the boundaries of event-related activities. Through this course, students will understand the integration of exhibitions/events and technology, experience the application of technology in events/exhibitions, and develop new opportunities for the innovation of event-related activities.

Wissenschaftliche Innovation

In the modern digital world, the organisation and staging of events has changed significantly. Students are able to explore the innovative issues of event activities under the digital background using a variety of technological tools and applications.

Kommunikation und Kooperation

Students who successfully complete the module have teambuilding and presentation skills. They are able to cooperate with relevant stakeholders when integrating digital and technological processes, procedures and tools.

Wissenschaftliches Selbstverständnis / Professionalität

Through the study of this course, students will understand the scientific and technological attributes of the event industry. The event industry is profoundly scientific and innovative, which also provides more channels for students to learn event knowledge.
