Establishing the CTX

Center for Applied Transformational Excellence

The CTX – Center for Applied Transformational Excellence

– explores how knowledge transfer can be successfully achieved during transformation and develops new formats for exchange between research, teaching, and practice.

The subproject “Establishing a Center for Applied Transformational Excellence (CTX) to Promote Research Transfer” is part of the strategic goal of ensuring research strength within the overall TExAS project.

The aim of the subproject is to identify and harness the factors influencing and determining the success of transfer and the implementation of research results. This increases the effectiveness of processes that promote transformation, and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences strengthens its role as a catalyst for social change.

To this end, a Center for Applied Transformational Excellence is being established, where professors from various disciplines will investigate how the transfer of applied research to business and society can be successfully achieved.

The findings will be incorporated into the teaching at the Research School as well as into training and professional development programs for university staff.
This creates a sustainable cycle of knowledge, practice, and transformation – a central building block for the future viability of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
