Application information
The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been awarding the Deutschlandstipendium since 2011. The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been one of the most successful universities in the nation in raising funds through the Deutschlandstipendium from companies, foundations, institutions, and private individuals. It also offers many of its students the opportunity to receive financial (3,600 euros/year) and intellectual support (such as internship and mentoring programs) from the respective funding organization.
Application period 29 April - 20 May (5 p.m.)
This year's application period will take place online via an application portal from 29 April to 20 May, 2025, 5 p.m..

The Deutschlandstipendium is 300 euros per month, and is awarded for an initial term of one year. The scholarships are awarded annually in the winter semester, so that the funding year starts on September 1st.
It is not offset against BAföG benefits or the student's own earnings.
Applicants to study at and students at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences can apply if they are enrolled on September 1st of the year of the award. The selection criteria for awarding the scholarships include previous performance and past career and educational development, as well as social engagement and special social, family or personal circumstances, for instance based on a recipient’s family origin or migration background.
The next application period for the Deutschlandstipendium will take place from April 29 to May 20 (5 p.m.). Applications are submitted online via an application portal.

In addition to the application form in the online portal, it is mandatory to submit a CV, a transcript of records/certificate and a certificate of enrollment. In addition, evidence of e.g. voluntary work can be uploaded. An anonymous version of the CV and transcript of records must also be submitted.

Students who already receive aptitude and performance-dependent funding equal to or exceeding a monthly average of 30 euros cannot receive funding through the Deutschlandstipendium. Students in dual study programs, part-time professional and integrated professional degree programs, as well as students in continuing education programs are also not eligible to receive funding.
There is no legal claim to a scholarship.
