Lower Saxony State Scholarship ("Landesstipendium Niedersachsen") at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences
The Ministry of Science and Culture has granted the Lower Saxony State Scholarship ("Landesstipendium Niedersachsen") in past years. The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been able to award over 100 scholarships each year.
These were each for one-time payments of 500 euros. Funds in particular improved the scholarships available to talented students from so-called educationally deprived social strata. In particular for first generation students and students who face particularly difficult conditions for starting and continuing a degree program due to their refugee background. In addition, social grounds and outstanding volunteer engagement both inside and outside of the university were taken into account.
Funding is available to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor's or consecutive Master's program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences at the beginning of the funding period and who are not on leave of absence.
Students of dual, part-time or job-integrated programs and students of continuing education programs are excluded from the funding.
Applications to the Lower Saxony State Scholarship ("Landesstipendium Niedersachsen") at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences can be submitted online during the application period. The online form will be activated on this homepage during the application period.
The 2023 application period has expired. The next application period is expected to take place in September 2024.
In addition to the application form, a curriculum vitae, certificate of enrollment, and transcript of records must be submitted.
