Eduroam

If you use a notebook or smartphone with Wi-Fi, there is free, wireless Internet access at many locations at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

The name of the WLAN network is "eduroam". Eduroam (Education Roaming) is a worldwide network of universities and research institutions that enables you to use the Internet with your central user ID.

Admittedly, establishing a connection to eduroam is not that straightforward. For this reason, we have created some setup instructions for you.

  • User of a visitor's WiFi ID
  • User of a personalized guest ID     
  • Functional accounts  
  • external student assistants

 

Did you already know?

Employees and lecturers at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences can generate a pure Wifi ID for visitors via the OSCA portal. You will receive this by email within a few minutes.
