Appointment process - quality assured!

Appointments shape the profile of the University of Applied Sciences in the long-term and are therefore an integral strategic component in the development of the university. Against the background of the particular importance in selecting academic staff who will maintain and further develop the quality of teaching and studies, application-oriented research and transference of knowledge and technology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, the university must provide for excellent selection and recruitment processes of prospective professors, in a manner that is both quality-assured and competition-oriented. In 2017, the university adopted Appointment Regulations as a working basis and established an Appointments and Recruitment Department in order to uphold its standards concerning appointment processes.
