Purpose of the associationThe association was established to promote science, research and education in physiotherapy for performing artists, and to integrate research findings into practice. This includes developing preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic measures further.
Objectives
  • To establish and introduce the new subdiscipline of Performing Arts Physiotherapy.
  • To build a professional network for physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and trainees (including those specializing in Performing Arts Physiotherapy), as well as for individuals involved in physiotherapy education or research.
  • To promote the professional development and advancement of physiotherapy as a profession.

Become a Member
  • Membership of the Association is open to physiotherapists who have successfully completed their professional training, as well as to individuals whose professional activities include teaching or research in the field of physiotherapy, from any country.
  • Provisional membership (without voting rights) may be granted to physiotherapy students and trainees. They must apply for full membership upon completion of their training.
  • Legal entities may be admitted as supporting members. Applications for membership must be submitted in writing. The Executive Board shall decide on the admission of new members. Supporting members do not have voting rights.
