The Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences offers guest lecturers from partner universities the opportunity to teach at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences for defined periods of time, thus enabling them to gather international experience and get to know the University. With guest lecturerships, the Faculty aims to develop new specialist fields and further enhance its international profile.
Guest lecturers can stay for one or several semesters or as part of the block weeks organized in May or October. The International Faculty Office of the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences helps international lecturers to get in touch with local teaching staff to agree on the details of a potential guest lecturership.
Guest lecturers have the opportunity to offer seminars as part of special project weeks (block weeks). The block weeks are scheduled for the second week of May and the last week of October (due to the Corona pandemic the dates may vary). Instead of following regular courses, students take part in projects, management games or study trips.
- May block week: 5 December of the previous year
- October block week: 10 May
The International Faculty Office of the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences helps international lecturers interested in a longer stay at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences to get in touch with local teaching staff to agree on the details of a guest lectureship.
