Please note: The Master's program in Musculoskeletal Therapy is taught entirely in German and requires tuition fees. Applicants must demonstrate German proficiency at DSH 2/C1 and English proficiency at CEF B1. Provisional admission is possible if applicants without German language proof reach B1 by semester start and C1 by the second semester. Completing this program does not grant professional licensure as physical therapists in Germany.

Clinical Expertise

Independent clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with (complex) neuromusculoskeletal problems
Proficiency in a wide range of manual and communication skills

Clinical Research

Identifying relevant scientific questions in manual therapy/physiotherapy
In-depth skills in determining the current state of evidence regarding scientific questions, including through the preparation of reviews and meta-analyses
Developing research protocols and conducting a research project (or a component thereof)

Clinical Management

Detailed (practical) knowledge of comprehensive differential diagnosis of the neuromusculoskeletal system
Recognition of "yellow flags" and "red flags" across all body regions, as well as key syndromes and diagnoses of the neuromusculoskeletal system
Adapted communication and consensus-building strategies with patients and other (para-)medical disciplines
