Admission requirements

Graduation from the Bachelor degree program Vocational Training – Partial Degree Program in Metals Technology or a comparable university degree. Also: 52 weeks of practical training (of which at least 26 weeks must be completed before commencing studies) or recognized vocational training

Course contents

Professional specialization in metals technology: Mathematical and scientific foundations, foundations and applications of metals technology and science, subject-specific educational foundations of metals technology
General educational subject: Choice of German, English, Evangelical Religion, Computer Science, Catholic Religion, Mathematics, Physics, or Sports
Vocational and business education: Context, conditions, and structure of vocational training, general teaching methodology of vocational teaching and learning in vocational schools, companies, and extracurricular training institutions, and five weeks of practical studies
