The first two semesters include two compulsory modules each to provide students with the necessary scientific work and management competences. All other modules may be combined freely, according to your individual preferences, choosing from the degree program's list of modules. You may select one out of five specializations that, on request, will be mentioned on the degree certificate. This requires completion of the three compulsory core modules of the specialization plus another three modules from the modules list.
Five optional specializations with a focus on natural sciences are offered:
- Applied Livestock Sciences
- Applied Lawn Sciences
- Agricultural Plant Cultivation Sciences
- Plant Technology and Horticulture
The specialization provides the basis for the research and development project and the Master thesis in the second year of study. At this stage, students focus on an application-oriented research topic from the chosen discipline and prepare for their later career.
