FAQ

Overview (as of July 2, 2021)

  • With the exception of the Institute for Music and the buildings of the library locations, all buildings of the university are closed. The use of seminar rooms or self-study areas is not possible.
  • Face-to-face examinations and colloquia as well as face-to-face events of the following types and according to the schedule of the faculties / the Institute for Music may take place:
    • Laboratory internships and similar stored practical modules (outdoor etc.) in small groups as well as necessary laboratory work in the context of studies, final and project work
    • Exam reviews according to plan and agreement
    • Art work during the course according to plan and arrangement
  • Mask requirements inside all buildings of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. A minimum distance of 1.5m must be kept at all times.
  • All locations of the university library are open to Osnabrbrück University of Applied Sciences members in compliance with the applicable hygiene regulations to protect against the corona pandemic.
    • Opening hours:
      Campus Westerberg: Mon - Fri 09.00 - 20.00, Sat 10.00 - 14.00
      Campus Haste and Lingen: Mon - Fri 09.00 - 18.00, Sat 10.00 - 14.00
    • Admission in all libraries until 15 min before closing time.
    • The library may only be entered with a medical mask (surgical mask or FFP2 mask). So-called everyday masks are no longer allowed.
    • Access to the library requires a daily updated SARS-CoV-2 antigen self-test with a negative result, a complete vaccination 14 days ago or a confirmed recovery (in the last 6 months).
  • All public university events outside of teaching, such as specialist conferences and colloquia with external participants, will not take place in attendance at the moment.
