We strongly recommend to wear FFP2 masks in all university buildings.
This also applies to all lecture rooms, regardless of the distance to the next seat.
Public events, specialist conferences and colloquia with external participants in attendance can take place during the summer semester 2022. When planning such event, please bear in mind that the rate of infection may change suddenly.
Larger numbers of people are to be discussed with the Dean's Office. The hygiene standards must be observed.

Student Services' canteens currently offer meals "to go" and "to stay" according to their opening hours.

In the FAQs on examination and matriculation matters, you will find information on theses, colloquia and options for withdrawing from examinations.

Campus Westerberg: AB building from Monday to Thursday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (Access is only possible via the main entrance on Albrechtstraße.)
The validation machine is also available in the central library on the Westerberg campus during the library's opening hours.

With the widespread lifting of travel restrictions and the return to study face-to face on site, many universities in most parts of the world have reopened their doors to international students. We are very pleased to see student mobilities taking place again and ask our outgoing students to take note of the safety information (information in German).
Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences warmly welcomes international students. Currently, there are no entry restrictions, no vaccination or testing requirements, and all teaching is face-to-face. There is a recommendation to wear FFP 2 masks on campus and in the lecture rooms. Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory on buses and trains in Osnabrück and the region, as well as at doctors' offices and in hospitals. Otherwise, there are no restrictions in public life.
Should there be any changes, information will be provided
- the Federal Ministry of the Interior about travel restrictions / border controls
- the Robert Koch Institute about the designation of international risk areas

Interim regulations for work organization will be in place until March 31, 2023.

The eLearning Competence Center (eLCC) presents teachers with options and tools with which they can keep teaching online.
Platform for exchange among teachers
Numerous colleagues have already registered in the collaboration environment set up by the eLCC in “Microsoft Teams” for the exchange of experiences for all teachers. Feel free to use the HS_Dozierendenteam to exchange information about tools, tools and didactics.
