MT certificate: second semester
Starting your studies in the second semester
You can start the Master's in Musculoskeletal Therapy (Manual Therapy - OMPT) in the 2nd semester with an MT-certificate.
Knowledge of German as an admission requirement for Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences
In order to be admitted to Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, you must have a good command of German, which will enable you to follow lectures and work independently. Certificates which Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences recognizes as sufficient can be found here.
You can skip the first semester and enrol directly in the second semester if you
- have a state-recognized qualification as a physiotherapist.
- have a university degree in a health-related subject.
- have worked full-time for at least one year or a comparable part-time job for at least two years after your first university degree.
- have proof of English language proficiency at level 3 of the university (CEF B1). If this proof is not available at the time of application, applicants have the option of being enrolled on condition that they provide proof of the corresponding level by the end of the second semester.
- have an MT certificate with at least 260 completed hours.
Registration for enrolment in the second semester is only possible for the summer semester (from December 15 to February 15).

- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Proof of completed university studies (e.g. Bachelor's degree certificate)
