Important information about our service times
The ServiceDesk will be closed from 22.12.2025 to 02.01.2026.
- The submission of final theses is possible until 19.12.2025 at 2 pm. Further information can be found on the homepage of the Registrar's Office.
- Urgent fault reports can be submitted via the service portal, by email or by leaving a message on the answering machine. All incoming channels are regularly checked for emergencies.
We will be there for you again as usual from 05.01.2026.
Information
The ServiceDesk serves as the first point of contact for technical questions and problems that affect the central IT services of the university.
This includes the Intranet, the central user ID and your email account, WiFi with eduroam, the application portal and many other services.
In addition, we forward incoming inquiries to the relevant employee group (e.g. to employees of the IT Service Center or the Faculty IT).
First-level support for the registrar's office also falls within our area of responsibility. We provide initial information to applicants and students and answer standard inquiries. Further inquiries and applications will be forwarded to the responsible clerks in the student secretariat for processing and decision-making.
In addition, documents, applications and final theses can be submitted during our service hours.

The best way to get to us by bus is on line 16 (stop "Botanischer Garten").
Sometimes it is helpful to have a look at your screen using TeamViewer.
To do this, you need to run the Quicksupport file on your PC. This is an executable application. There is no installation.
After opening the file you will see an ID and a password. Please call us and let us know the data shown.
