Nursing Management (B.A.)

Bachelor of Arts

Features of the degree program Nursing Management

The part-time degree program Nursing Management links the nursing profession with economic insights from the occupational field of healthcare. In various modules, students are instructed in the theory and methods of both economic and nursing science so they are equipped to exploit the interplay between care and the economy. Communications, social, and management skills are also reinforced and developed.

As an area of specialization, students can choose between Organization Development, Finance and Cost Management, or Quality Development in Nursing. Graduates are thus ideally prepared for executive positions in nursing management or for management positions in hospitals, health insurance companies, geriatric nursing, rehabilitation, and prevention.

Attendance phases take place twice a semester at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences with a duration of two weeks each (Mondays to Fridays).
