Study Health in Germany
Here's what you can do with us in English in the fields of engineering, computer science and design:
- Individual Semester Program
You can design your own semester program by selecting English-language modules in the field of physiotherapy. - Summer and Winter Programs
We offer various 2- to 6-week summer programs between May and August with courses that might interest you. For winter people, we also have our 3-week winter language course in February. - Internship
We can arrange internships at institutions for students from our Erasmus partner universities.
Our offers apply to Bachelor's and Master's students. If you are a doctoral student, take a look at the website of our Welcome Center for international doctoral candidates and researchers.
Individual Semester Program
You have the opportunity to put together your own topics and lectures. How does that work?
Look through our course catalog for the subjects that interest you.
- Course catalog for the winter semester
- Course catalog for the summer semester
Simply search for Bachelor Physiotherapy Modules.
- Send a list of the modules you are interested in, along with the Learning Agreement, to the International Faculty Office (IFO) responsible for the program.
- After the semester starts, you'll finalize your timetable with the support of your IFO.
Summer and Winter programs
Our three-week International Summer University (ISU) offers you for example the following courses:
- Ethics and Sustainability of Artificial Intelligence (undergraduate)
- Sustainable Succes in the Global Marketplace (undergraduate/graduate)
- Global Healthcare Management (undergraduate/graduate)
- Clinical Perspectives in Physiotherapy (undergraduate)
- Food Technologies (undergraduate/graduate)
In addition to the courses, we offer e.g:
- a workshop on “Intercultural Competence”
- company visits in the region
- cultural activities such as sports activities or workshops in the Botanical Garden
- weekend trip to Berlin
- optional trips to Paris and Amsterdam
Prior to the semester we offer Intensive German Courses:
- 4 weeks in August/September: International Summer Language Course
- 3 weeks in February: International Winter Language Course
You will learn German according to your language level (from beginners to advanced), meet international students from all over the world, get to know the university and the city and will be well prepared to start into your semester as a visiting student.
