Where to live?
Student residence
We have shared rooms and apartments for our students. As there is a high demand, it is best to apply as early as possible.
Important: You do not have to be admitted to the university to apply for accommodation!

Tips:
- If you don't have much time until the start of your studies, also look for rooms to rent temporarily. It's much easier to look for apartments locally.
- Also, don't just look in the city center. In Osnabrück, you can easily get around the whole city by bike or bus. It's also often cheaper to live on the outskirts of the city.
What scholarships are available?
We offer various scholarships to support your life in Germany. Not every scholarship is suitable for everyone and many have limited places. You should therefore inform yourself and apply early.
PASCH Contact scholarship
- for graduates of PASCH schools abroad
Is my former school included in the list? - 450 euro per month for the first 12 months of your study at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück
- financed with funds from the Federal Foreign Office
Evangelisches Studierendenwerk Villigst
- Students (Bachelor/Master) who are citizens of an EU member state, Switzerland or who are eligible for funding under Section 8 of the BAföG
- At the time of application, you have not yet completed your 3rd semester. If you are studying more than one subject, the highest semester always counts. It is not possible to apply for funding for just one Master’s degree
- People from non-academic families and from universities of applied sciences are expressly invited to apply.
Germany Scholarship
- for students with good academic performance or volunteer work
- Financial (300 euros per month) and non-material (e.g. contacts to companies, internship offers) support
- Application directly to the university

- for students who are in the final phase of their studies
