International Summer University
The International Summer University is held annually at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. Students from all over the world come to Osnabrück to gain international experience together. In addition to interdisciplinary events such as German courses, "Facts about Germany and Osnabrueck", "Ïnternational Competence" and joint leisure activities, the students choose topics from the fields of business administration, marketing or health. Since 2017, a physiotherapy specialisation has been offered regularly, which is currently organised and taught by Prof. Tampin.

The module "Clinical Perspectives in Physiotherapy" includes contents such as the differences of physiotherapy, its professional autonomy as well as differences in the health care systems of different countries. Another focus is the deepening of "clinical reasoning skills" as a prerequisite for independent work as a physiotherapist. The participants visit clinics and rehabilitation centres and get an insight into the Motion Analysis Lab of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. In cooperation with students of the module "Global Health Care Management", a "Health Care Summit" is organised where students present various topics in the field of "Health Care". Impressions of the last years can be seen below.
