Are you a PhD student, Post-Doc or academice staff member in Osnabrück and looking for other reseachers to exchange ideas and experiences with?
Osnabrück University and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences invite you to join our social events! We meet in changing locations in Osnabrück and offer a variety of leisure activites. Here you can chat with other doctoral candidates in a relaxed atmosphere and exchange ideas about your research and common interests. In addition to international researchers, there are usually also some German PhD student joining our activities.

Upcoming events
You love playing board games/party games as much as we do? Then join our international game night! We meet at 7 pm in the "Spielcafé Osnabrett" (Dielingerstraße 40, 49074 Osnabrück). You will recognize us by the "Researcher's Roundtable" sign on the table.
We will bring a few fun games that can be played in English. If you also want to bring games, you are welcome to do so :)
We invite you to hike with us in the autumnal Teutoburgerwald Forest and climb the Hermannsturm! We meet at 3:30 pm at the Herrenrest hiking parking lot. You can get there by bus line 465, bus stop “Oesede Herrenrest” at 3:23 pm + approx. 5 minutes walk.
You can get on the bus in Osnabrück at e.g. Neumarkt. Please check the timetable on page 4.
You are welcome to bring a picnic and remember to wear weatherproof clothing.
It is not necessary to register in advance. We look forward to a beautiful fall hike!
We look forward to taking a stroll over the Christmas Market of Osnabrück and drinking a mulled wine (Glühwein) with you! We meet at 7 pm infront of the café ALEX (Nikolaiort 1-2, 49074 Osnabrück).
You don't need to sign up in advance. Just drop by!
General Information
- Participation is free if charge, but everyone pays for its own drinks/tickets etc.
- You are welcome to bring your spouse and children to our events, too.
- Our events may be subject to change. To stay up-to-date with our activities, please visit our website on a regular basis or sign up for our newsletter.
- Participants of the Researcher's Roundtable activites are not insured by Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences or the University of Osnabrück. We do not assume any liability in case of an accident in connection with the participation in our events.
