Brief description

The strategic, tactical and operational management of systems for the development and maintenance of open spaces is one of the core tasks of senior landscaping staff. In addition to optimising life cycle costs, considerations and strategies for improving the working/living environment in terms of human resource management (HRM) are among the core tasks of open space management. The development and control of systems for the maintenance and targeted development of open spaces place special demands on management due to their dynamics, annual and weather cycles. High liability risks arise for the actors due to the traffic safety obligations. The students should be enabled to independently evaluate problems and tasks in open space management and to point out possible solutions.
