Mission Statement

The students learn how specific simulation software can be used for the organization and implementation of events.

Content

This module integrates the content of basic event courses that students have learned during the previous three years of study. Using simulation software, the students learn how to organize and stage an event from planning to implementation and evaluation, including goal setting, basic procedures and means of implementation. Students enhance their overall understanding of event activities and learn more about future occupation in the event industry. This training can help students to prepare for internships and future work in a holistic and efficient manner.

Students who successfully complete this module know how to organise and stage an event using computerized technology.

Students who successfully complete this module understand the process of event operation and can wholly understand and build up the relation between different event subjects.

Students who successfully complete this module know how to use specialized exhibition simulation software.

Students who successfully complete this module know how to communicate with customers using CRM operation systems.

Students who successfully complete this module have acquired important skills and knowledge to increase their employability in the event industry.

Mode of Delivery

Lectures, case studies, simulation on CRM software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) of event companies.
