Mission Statement

This module focuses on international financial management and related issues including global financial environment, foreign exchange theory, foreign exchange exposure, financing of the global firm, foreign investment decisions, and managing multi-national operations. This course is designed to assist students in understanding and assessing international financial issues, risks, and strategies employed by multi-national firms.

1. Understand fundamental concepts and tools of analysis in the core areas of business administration, accounting, economics, marketing and finance.
2. Develop analytical and critical-thinking skills necessary to make sound business and personal decisions.
3. Analyze and control cash flows in a foreign exchange environment.

1. Understand the goals and functions of the international financial manager to make sound business and personal decisions.
2. Understand the time value of money and implications thereof to risk, rates of return and value.

5. Analyze sources available for international business organization financing.
