- Brief description
- The conception, development and evaluation of interactive media systems are important fields of activity for both designers and computer scientists. Highly technical knowledge of modern media formats and modern interaction technologies are the basis for forward-looking projects. Being effective in such interdisciplinary teams is an important requirement in professional life. For that design students and computer science students jointly plan, develop and test an innovative media project to make experiences with interdisciplinary teamwork and processes.
- Teaching and learning outcomes
- • Research and presentation of modern media formats and interaction technologies.
 • Conception, development and evaluation of innovative projects.
- Overall workload
- The total workload for the module is 150 hours (see also "ECTS credit points and grading").

- Recommended prior knowledge
- Basic knowledge in Computer Science and Design
- Knowledge Broadening
- Students who have successfully completed this module know important formats and technologies of modern interaction and motion design.
- Knowledge deepening
- Students have detailed knowledge in one or more thematic areas. They develop this knowledge through the implementation of innovative projects.
- Knowledge Understanding
- Detailed knowledge in one or more topics is developed through the conception, design and programming of innovative interactive projects.
- Application and Transfer
- The students design, develop and test modern media formats and user interfaces using current methods and technologies.
- Communication and Cooperation
- The students are able to develop, discuss and test concepts as a team. The development is also carried out as a team, which also requires targeted communication and professional project management.
