Brief description

Media law is a very broad field of law. It encompasses the law on electronic data processing and electronic communication.

Intangible assets such as know-how, data, experience, AI, social media, software and ideas are now of enormous economic importance. Anyone who deals with these important economic assets should be familiar with the legal issues involved.

5. Content such as texts, photos, videos, publications about people, reviews

7. Advertising on the internet and competition law

12. IT contract law, including IT projects

Knowledge Broadening

After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the most important legal regulations in the field of IT, Internet and computer law.

Knowledge Understanding

They will be able to recognize legal problems. They will be able to contractually protect intangible assets such as know-how, works, software and data and draft contracts. They will be able to exploit them commercially. They will be able to recognize legal pitfalls.

Application and Transfer

Students are able to solve practical problems with the help of the law.

Communication and Cooperation

Exemplary cases and contracts are discussed together and solutions are presented. The topics are presented as far as possible using practical examples. Students can contribute practical experience.
