Mission Statement

In order to be successful in professional life, technical expertise as well as good communication skills are essential. Furthermore, good knowledge of foreign languages and intercultural understanding are fundamental in order to communicate effectively in our globilised world.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge Broadening
Upon passing this module the students should:

- have good French language skills, at least or comparable to Level B1 CEF
Knowledge Deepening

Instrumental Skills and Competences
- know about presentation techniques
- can give presentations about technical topics, in French
- can apply basic techniques to understand and summarize texts, in French
- can express themselves in written French
Communicative Skills and Competences
- are able to communicate in French with international business partners about technical issues
- demonstrate intercultural sensitivity in order to communicate successfully in an international environment
