The International Winter School in Lingen - from 03-15 February 2024

After the Corona pandemic, this event could be resumed in February 2023, so that the International Winter School in cooperation with the partner university Monash University from Melbourne, Australia, will also take place at Lingen campus in 2024. Students can look forward to an intensive and interesting short-term programme with a focus on sustainable business.

The programme

Tackling sustainable business issues – International Winter School at Lingen Campus

As part of the Winter School Lingen 2024, 20 students from Monash University in Australia and 15 students from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in Germany will have the opportunity to work together intensively on management and sustainability issues for a two-week period to promote their understanding of the international business world and its impact. The focus is on sustainable, responsible and ethical business practices. Set in a post-pandemic context, the block week allows students to explore a wide range of business, social, cultural, legal and political issues that can impact the strategy and sustainable operations of global companies.

Through traditional lectures, innovative case studies, literature study, films, and visits to and from industry and public sector partners, challenges that need to be addressed in a global context are identified. This also includes an analysis of current events. Cultural activities also play an essential integrating role in the Winter School, students experience two educational weeks and make new international friends in the meantime .

The Winter School is jointly organised by the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Monash University Business School, Melbourne.
