Study Programmes

Mission Statement: International students are working together in a workshop dealing withcontemporary topics in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning.

Content: Planning strategies, legal frameworks, technical engineering and methodology from their homecountries will be presented and compared with German approaches. Thetheoretical background will be applied in a project area, which is appropriatefor the specific planning and construction task.

Learning Outcomes: Knowledge Broadening
Students will be able to develop planning strategies and conceptual design studies in different spatial contexts, regarding intercultural aspets and professional skills.
Knowledge Deepening
Students will be able to adopt planning methodologies into the specific project area, regarding differenct planning systems and approaches from their home countries.

Students will be able to interact in an international team, regarding intercultural competences and professional skills.
Systemic Skills and Competences

Mode of Delivery: The workshop emphasizeshands-on experience in an international project team. Based on thecourse topics students write a homework, describing the project background,methods, solutions, including text and maps. Students use seminardiscussions with experts for finalizing their homework.
