- Mission Statement
The conception, development and evaluation of interactive systems are important fields of activity for both designers and computer scientists. Highly technical knowledge of modern media formats (e.g. 3D, VR or AR) and modern interaction technologies (e.g. gesture, eye or voice control) are the basis for forward-looking projects. Being effective in such interdisciplinary teams is an important requirement in professional life. For that design students and computer science students jointly plan, develop and test an innovative media project to make first experiences with interdisciplinary teamwork and processes.
- Content
- Research and presentation of modern media formats and interaction technologies.
- Conception, development and evaluation of innovative projects.
- Learning Outcomes
Knowledge Broadening
Students who have successfully completed this module know important formats and technologies of modern interaction and motion design.
Knowledge Deepening
Students have detailed knowledge in one or more thematic areas. They develop this knowledge through the implementation of innovative projects.
Instrumental Skills and Competences
Detailed knowledge in one or more topics is developed through the conception, design and programming of innovative interactive projects.
Communicative Skills and Competences
The students are able to develop, discuss and test concepts as a team. The development is also carried out as a team, which also requires targeted communication and professional project management.
Systemic Skills and Competences
The students design, develop and test modern media formats and user interfaces using current methods and technologies.
