- Brief description
An indispensable functional component of public green space administration is the task area "sponsorship of cemeteries". Managers in green space administration are confronted with this task and have to solve it under special framework conditions: the task area is fee-based; the dramatic change in the mourning culture requires new, always flexible concepts; the privatisation tendency forces the coordination of sovereign and private sector tasks; the networks of the sectors involved must be known. The students are enabled to deal with the budgetary restrictions, the social requirements and the private-sector components of this field of activity and to act in relevant networks.
