Semester fee

A semester fee corresponding to the current tariff is to be paid each semester. Further information can be found on the website concerning the semester fees. Furthermore, for the additional expense of a dual degree program, tuition fees of 1.800€ in addition to the semester fee are due each semester.

Application deadline

15th July each year (there are specific deadlines for applicants with foreign degrees, please see Bewerbungstermine Uni Assist). Applications must be submitted to the cooperating companies.

Entrance requirements

Successfully completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Additionally, at least one year of practical experience has to be ascertained, that is gained within the area of studies of the bachelor’s degree. A study-cooperation-agreement arranged with a qualified cooperating company has to be ensured over the entire course of the master’s program. An exemplary agreement can be requested at the Office of Students and Company Support (please see contact details below).

Specialization options

Specialization in one of the following areas of study:

  • Mechanical and Materials Engineering
  • Process Engineering
  • Automation Engineering
  • Technology-based Services
  • Industrial Engineering and Management

Specialty: Within the area of Industrial Engineering and Management, the modules are composed of fifty percent technical and fifty percent business-related subjects. The latter are chosen from the subjects available at the vocationally integrated master’s program Management and Organization. Combinations of the specific subjects can be chosen individually.
