Application requirements

1. A bachelor's degree in economics or a bachelor's degree in social sciences or other professionally appropriate study. The selection committee decides whether a Bachelor's degree is suitable.
2. Applicants must demonstrate at least B2 level English at the time of application. In addition, foreign applicants must provide proof of at least level A1 German.

Internationality

Since 2009, the Master degree program Management in Nonprofit Organisations has hosted up to 10 students every winter semester from Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and countries of the Near and Middle East as part of the DAAD Master scholarship program "Helmut Schmidt Programm". For this reason, between 30-50% of the students of the degree program are international.

Features

Managers of foundations, associations, or social institutions require specific skills and know-how to reach the nonprofit aims of their organizations. The Master degree program Management in Nonprofit Organisations provides instruction in just these qualifications.

Specialisations:
Specialisation 1 (compulsatory): Spheres of Activities of Nonprofit Organisations
Specialisation 2 (one Specialisation of your choice): Development Cooperation (in English Language), Change Management (in German Language), Personalmanagement (in German Language) or Bildungsmanagement und -planung in der Kommune (in German Language).
