SIP: One-year stay for Canadian and US students at one of the seven German universities of applied sciences in the UAS7 consortium
Dear prospective SIP Student,
As a member of UAS7 (German consortium of seven universities of applied sciences) Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Osnabrück) would be happy to host you during your one year stay in Germany. For details on the basic conditions, please have a look at:
Each year we welcome more than 100 visiting students from all around the world who spend one or two semesters at our university and we invite you to join us!

If you do not have enough German language skills in order to follow the modules in German, we would like to draw your attention to our modules which are taught in English. These are either related to Business Management or to Soil Sciences:

The Faculty of Agriculture and Landscape Architecture offers the 'International Semester on Contaminated Soils and GIS'. These modules belong to the Soil Science program. For further information:
When you come to Hochschule Osnabrück, you will be enrolled as a visiting student (non-degree seeking). Academic advisors will help you to arrange your study plan. You will be exempted from tuition fees as a SIP scholarship holder. We will arrange accommodation for you in furnished student residences (single room). You will have the opportunity to participate in the International Intensive Language Courses of Hochschule Osnabrück in August/September and in February and of course in German language classes during the semester. Buddies and student tutors will meet you in the 'Welcome Café' and during the orientation days and will help you find your way around at the university and in town. During the semester we will invite you to take part in JOIN OS, the joint cultural program for international students in Osnabrück. And of course, friendly staff in the international offices on central and on faculty level will always be happy to help you!
